Instructions
- In a pot, combine cooked basmati rice, turmeric powder, salt, and optional olive oil or butter. Stir over low heat until fragrant.
- Steam broccoli florets for about 4-5 minutes until bright green or sauté in olive oil until tender.
- Soft-boil the egg by boiling in water for 6-7 minutes, then cool in ice water before peeling.
- Assemble by serving turmeric rice and broccoli on a plate, topping with the halved egg and sprinkling dried herbs.
