- 2 cans (29 oz) peaches in heavy syrup
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 5 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 1/2 tsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour

- 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar (for topping)

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Pour the first can of peaches with its juice into a 9×13 pan. Drain the second can and add only peaches.
- Mix melted butter, lemon juice, sugar, and vanilla with the peaches.
- In a bowl, combine flour, sugar (for topping), baking powder, spices, and salt. Sprinkle over the peach mixture.
- Drizzle melted butter over the topping mixture and bake at 400°F for 15 minutes; reduce temperature to 375°F and bake for another hour until golden brown.
