Ingredients

  • 3 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 225g all-purpose flour
  • 113g unsalted butter (cool & cubed)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 200g white chocolate chips
  • 110g heavy cream (heated)
  • Fresh strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, whisk confectioners sugar and egg yolks until smooth. Add vanilla, flour, butter, salt, and matcha; mix until combined. Press into a tart pan.
  2. Bake for 19 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely.
  3. Melt white chocolate chips with heated cream in another bowl; stir until smooth.
  4. Top the cooled tart shell with white chocolate cream and arrange sliced strawberries on top.
  5. Optionally decorate with Swiss meringue buttercream around edges.
