- 1 2/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar

- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup salted butter (room temperature)
- 3 eggs
- 3 tsps vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 pound unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 8 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1 drop pink food coloring
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake tray with paper liners.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Cream butter and sugar until fluffy; add eggs and vanilla.
- Combine dry ingredients with sour cream and milk until just mixed.
- Fill liners with batter and bake for 20–25 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.
- Beat butter and sugar for frosting; add cream and food coloring for desired hue.
- Pipe roses on each cupcake using a piping bag fitted with a rose tip.
