- 1 cup unsalted butter (room temperature)

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a large rimmed baking sheet (17×12 inches) with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt to the wet ingredients. Fold in 2 cups of M&Ms gently.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle remaining M&Ms on top.
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes until edges are golden but centers may look slightly underbaked. Let cool completely before cutting.
