- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- Pinch of all-spice
- Pinch of ground cloves
Instructions
- Prepare the crust by combining flour, salt, and sugar in a mixing bowl. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Gradually add cold water until the dough forms. Shape into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Roll out the chilled dough on a floured surface into a circle about 12 inches wide and transfer to a pie dish.
- In a large bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sweetened condensed milk, eggs, salt, and spices until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 425°F (220°C), then reduce temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for an additional 35-40 minutes until set.
- Allow cooling completely before slicing.
