  • 1 1/2 cups 60% cacao bittersweet chocolate chips
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (or gluten-free flour)
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 12 ounces miniature peanut butter cups (chopped)
  • Additional chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a lined 9×13 baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and chocolates over low heat, stirring until smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. In a bowl, whisk eggs; then mix in sugars and salt until combined.
  4. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla.
  5. Sift together flour and baking powder, then fold into wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour half the batter into the pan; layer with chopped peanut butter cups; top with remaining batter and additional chocolate chips.
  7. Bake for about 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool before serving.
