Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.

- Beat softened butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternating with buttermilk until just combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 60-70 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- While cooling, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar and milk until smooth. Drizzle over cooled cake.
