- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 packet onion soup mix (about 1 oz)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker and drizzle with olive oil.
- Sprinkle onion soup mix over the chicken and pour in chicken broth until it covers halfway.
- Add minced garlic on top.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3 hours.
- Remove chicken; mix cornstarch with water and stir into the cooking liquid to thicken on high heat for about 10 minutes.
- Return shredded chicken to the pot, stir to combine, and serve hot.
