- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4 oz pepperoni slices (turkey or chicken recommended)
- ½ cup marinara sauce
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C) and let store-bought pizza dough sit at room temperature.
- Roll out the dough into a 12-inch circle on a floured surface.
- Spread marinara sauce over half of the dough, leaving a 1-inch border. Layer mozzarella cheese and pepperoni slices, followed by oregano.
- Fold the dough over the filling and seal the edges well; crimp with a fork if desired.
- Brush the top with olive oil and sprinkle with additional oregano.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Serve warm with extra marinara sauce for dipping.
