  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/4 cup tahini sauce

  • 4 pieces of pita bread (for serving)

Instructions

  1. Soak chickpeas overnight in water.
  2. Drain and rinse the soaked chickpeas. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, parsley, garlic, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, and baking powder. Pulse until the mixture is coarse yet well-combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls (about 2 inches wide) and place them on a tray.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry falafel for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  5. Arrange falafel on a serving plate alongside fresh vegetables and drizzle with tahini sauce. Serve with warm pita bread.
