- 8 slices brioche bread
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1 cup fresh strawberries (sliced)
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
- Prepare the strawberries by washing, hulling, and slicing them thinly. Toss with sugar and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix cream cheese, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture on half of the brioche slices. Top with sliced strawberries and cover with remaining bread.
- Set up a breading station: beat eggs in one bowl and place panko breadcrumbs in another.
- Dip each sandwich into beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry sandwiches until golden brown, about 3 minutes per side.
- Drain on paper towels, cut in half, and serve warm.
