Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F). Remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about one minute). Pour in chicken broth and scrape any browned bits off the bottom.
  4. Lower heat and stir in heavy cream, thyme, and oregano. Allow to simmer for about three minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over it. Let it soak in flavors for an additional five minutes.
