Instructions
- Gather all ingredients on your countertop.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, mix milk and eggs; then stir in cooled melted butter.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed; lumps are okay.
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot to 350°F (175°C).
- Drop batter by spoonfuls into hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels. Serve warm with powdered sugar or your favorite toppings.
