Instructions
- Cook the pasta: In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- Sauté the sausage: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sliced Cajun smoked sausage and cook until browned (5-7 minutes).
- Add garlic: Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- Make the sauce: Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth; bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally until slightly thickened (about 5 minutes).
- Mix in Parmesan: Stir in freshly grated Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Combine everything: Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce mixture until evenly coated. Serve immediately.
