- 2 slices sourdough bread
- 4 oz brie cheese (rind removed if desired)
- 2 tbsp blackberry balsamic vinegar
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine blackberry balsamic vinegar and fresh blackberries. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened, then set aside.
- Spread butter generously on one side of each slice of sourdough bread.
- On the unbuttered side of one slice, layer brie cheese and drizzle with blackberry reduction. Top with the other slice of bread, buttered side facing out.
- Grill the sandwich in a preheated skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese melts.
- Slice diagonally, drizzle with extra blackberry balsamic reduction, and serve warm.
