- 24 ladyfingers
- 2 cups mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
- 1 cup mascarpone cheese
- 1 cup brewed strong coffee or espresso (cooled)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Brew a strong cup of coffee or espresso; allow it to cool.
- In a bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Dip each ladyfinger briefly in the cooled coffee and layer them in a trifle dish.
- Sprinkle half of the mixed berries over the ladyfingers.
- Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top of the berries.
- Repeat layering with remaining ladyfingers, berries, and cream mixture.
- Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
