- 2 cups fresh strawberries, halved
- 1 cup fresh mozzarella balls (bocconcini), halved
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- Wash strawberries and slice them in half.
- Cut mozzarella balls in half.
- In a small saucepan, simmer balsamic vinegar over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until thickened.
- On a platter, alternate layering sliced strawberries and mozzarella balls, tucking in basil leaves.
- Drizzle olive oil over the assembled salad.
- Finish by drizzling the balsamic reduction on top.
