- 8 oz dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (or coconut sugar)
- Zest of 1 lemon or orange
- 1 tbsp agar-agar powder
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water or in the microwave until smooth, stirring occasionally.
- In a saucepan, heat coconut milk and sugar over medium heat until the sugar dissolves completely.
- Whisk in agar-agar powder into the warm coconut mixture and simmer for 2 minutes until fully dissolved.
- Combine melted chocolate with the coconut mixture and fold gently. Add citrus zest and mix well.
- Pour into serving cups and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Serve chilled, topped with extra citrus zest or fresh fruit.
