- For the Caramel Sauce:
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup coconut milk
- 1 tsp agar-agar powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix brewed coffee, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients; stir gently until just combined.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the caramel sauce, melt sugar over medium heat until golden brown. Whisk in coconut milk and agar until smooth.
- Slice the cake and drizzle with warm caramel sauce before serving.
