Instructions
- Cook penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned.
- Stir in diced tomatoes, low-sodium beef broth, Greek yogurt, Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet; toss gently until well mixed.
- Serve hot garnished with fresh basil or parsley.
