Ingredients

  • 1 box Devil's Food cake mix
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 box chocolate fudge instant pudding
  • 2 tubs vanilla cake icing
  • orange food coloring gel
  • edible black glitter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, eggs, and pudding mix. Beat until well blended.
  3. Scoop the batter onto Silpat-lined baking sheets in desired sizes (18 larger or 36 smaller circles).
  4. Bake for 7-10 minutes until set but moist inside.
  5. Cool completely on wire racks before decorating.
  6. Mix orange food coloring into one tub of icing and pipe it onto the flat side of one pie before topping with another.
  7. Decorate with edible glitter, black licorice, and candy eyes.
