Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the flour, baking soda, and salt; mix on low speed until just combined.
- Gently fold in chocolate chips and sprinkles.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized dough balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet; refrigerate for 1.5 to 2 hours.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake cookies for 11–13 minutes until edges are golden.
- Add candy eyes immediately after removing from the oven.
- Allow cookies to cool on a wire rack before serving.
