  • 12 oz bowtie pasta (farfalle)
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup Velveeta, cubed
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter (for searing)
  • 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt & black pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook bowtie pasta until al dente (10-11 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Season chicken with Cajun seasoning and sear until golden brown (6-8 minutes). Remove and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add heavy cream and milk, whisking in cream cheese until smooth. Stir in cheeses until melted.
  4. Toss cooked pasta with the sauce in the skillet. If thickened too much, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
  5. Plate the pasta alongside the chicken, garnish with parsley, and serve hot.
