Ingredients
- ¾ lb flank steak (thinly sliced)
- 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
- ½ tablespoon oyster sauce (optional but recommended)
- ¾ teaspoon cornstarch
- ¾ teaspoon sesame oil
- 6 oz fresh or dried noodles (ramen or spaghetti)
- 1 ½ tablespoons vegetable oil (divided)
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- ¾ teaspoon grated ginger
- 1 ½ tablespoons soy sauce
- ¾ tablespoon hoisin sauce
- ¾ tablespoon honey or brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons beef broth or water
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Marinate the sliced steak with soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil for 15-20 minutes.
- Cook the noodles in boiling water per package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil and cook the marinated steak for 3-4 minutes until browned. Remove from skillet.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic and ginger until fragrant.
- Stir in soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, and beef broth; simmer until slightly thickened.
- Toss cooked noodles into the skillet with the sauce; add the cooked steak back in and mix well.
- Serve immediately garnished with parsley.
