Ingredients
- 4 cups filtered water
- 3 black or green tea bags
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 cup fresh fruit (sliced peaches, strawberries, citrus, or berries)
- ½ lemon or lime (thinly sliced)
- 6–8 fresh mint leaves (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Boil 4 cups of water in a kettle.
- Place tea bags in a heat-safe container and pour boiling water over them. Steep for 5–7 minutes.
- Remove the tea bags and stir in honey or maple syrup if desired. Let it cool to room temperature.
- In a large pitcher, add sliced fruits, lemon or lime slices, and mint leaves.
- Pour the cooled tea over the fruit mixture and stir gently.
- Refrigerate for at least 1–2 hours to let flavors meld.
- Serve over ice and enjoy! For an extra fizz, top each glass with sparkling water.
