Ingredients
- 2¼–2½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- ½ cup very cold butter
- 1 egg
- 2½ cups sliced fresh peaches (or canned)
- 1½ tablespoons sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease an 8-inch cake pan.
- In a bowl, combine sliced peaches with 1½ tablespoons of sugar and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. Mix in the egg until just combined.
- Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan. Layer with peach mixture and top with remaining crumble.
- Bake for 30–40 minutes until golden brown on top. Let cool slightly before serving.
