  • 12 oz kielbasa sausage, sliced
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup low-sodium vegetable broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Chop the onion and mince the garlic.
  2. Spray the inside of a crockpot with nonstick cooking spray. Layer half of the frozen pierogies at the bottom.
  3. Add half of the sliced kielbasa, followed by half of the diced onions and minced garlic.
  4. Repeat layering with the remaining pierogies, kielbasa, onions, and garlic.
  5. In a bowl, whisk together sour cream and vegetable broth until smooth; pour evenly over the layered ingredients in the crockpot.
  6. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until heated through and bubbly. Add shredded cheese just before serving.
