Instructions
- 1. Cook the beef: In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess fat and stir in spices for 2 minutes.
- 2. Prepare tortillas: Warm tortillas in a pan or microwave until pliable.
- 3. Assemble taquitos: Place 2 tablespoons of beef mixture on one end of each tortilla, sprinkle cheese, and roll tightly.
- 4. Fry: Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat. Fry taquitos seam-side down for about 3 minutes until golden brown.
- 5. Drain: Transfer crispy taquitos onto paper towels to drain excess oil.
- 6. Serve: Plate with sour cream and lime wedges; drizzle with fresh lime juice.
