Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch sheet pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the butter until creamy. Gradually add sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in eggs one at a time, then add buttermilk and vanilla; blend until smooth.
- Gently fold dry ingredients into wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool before frosting with a whipped mixture of powdered sugar, butter, and cream.
