  • 3 T taco seasoning
  • 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup chunky salsa
  • 1 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning with the cooked beef and transfer to the greased pie pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, salsa, 1 cup of cheese, garlic salt, and pepper until smooth.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the beef in the pie pan and top with remaining cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered for 35 to 40 minutes until the center is set and top is golden brown.
