  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F (200C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Trim the outer leaves and stem of the cauliflower, keeping the core intact. Slice into 1-inch thick steaks (about 2–3 steaks).
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix well.
  4. Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the seasoned oil mixture.
  5. Place on the baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until tender with golden edges.
  6. Optional: Broil for an additional 2–3 minutes for extra crispiness.
  7. Allow to rest briefly before serving.
