- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 8 oz fettuccine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the fettuccine in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
- Add the diced onion and minced garlic; sauté until onions are translucent.
- Pour in the heavy cream, scraping the skillet’s bottom for flavor. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and creamy.
- Combine the cooked pasta with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water as needed for desired consistency. Season with salt and pepper.
- Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan or herbs if desired.
