- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
- 4–5 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp semi-sweet paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and gather all ingredients.
- Pat the chicken dry and season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove chicken from the skillet. Add minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring well. Add oregano, thyme, and paprika; simmer for about five minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and cover with a lid. Cook for another ten minutes until the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (75°C).
