Ingredients
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp blackened seasoning (or Cajun seasoning)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes for extra heat
Instructions
- Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and reserve some cooking water.
- Sear seasoned chicken in olive oil over medium-high heat until cooked through; rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, sauté garlic in butter, add chicken broth, and simmer.
- Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan until smooth; season as desired.
- Toss linguine with the sauce, adding reserved pasta water if needed.
- Serve topped with sliced chicken and garnish with parsley.
