- 1 sheet puff pastry (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Peel, core, and quarter the apples.
- In an ovenproof skillet, melt the butter over medium heat and add sugar to create deep golden caramel.
- Arrange the apple quarters in the caramel and cook over low heat for 10–15 minutes.
- Cover with puff pastry, tucking in the edges.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
- Cool slightly before inverting onto a plate and serve warm.
