- 2 teaspoons chipotle chili powder
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons honey
- 2 teaspoons salt
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by trimming any excess fat and rinsing it under cold water. Pat dry.
- In a large bowl, whisk together lime juice, lime zest, olive oil, cilantro, jalapeño, chipotle chili powder, garlic, honey, and salt until combined.
- Add the chicken to the marinade and coat thoroughly. Marinate for at least 2 hours (up to overnight for best flavor).
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill marinated chicken for about 10 minutes total or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
- Serve hot with lime wedges for added zest.
