- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 12 oz twisted pasta (rotini or fusilli)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the twisted pasta in salted boiling water until al dente (8-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup pasta water, drain, and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear steak tips for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Season with Cajun seasoning and spices. Remove from skillet.
- Melt butter in the same skillet; sauté minced garlic for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream and milk; mix in cream cheese until smooth.
- Stir in Parmesan and mozzarella until melted; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Toss cooked pasta with sauce; top with seared steak tips before serving.
