Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente (9-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat; sear steak tips for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Remove the steak and make the sauce by sautéing minced garlic in butter; stir in heavy cream, whole milk, and cream cheese until smooth.
  5. Add grated cheeses and Cajun seasoning to create a thick sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
  6. Toss cooked linguine in the sauce and serve topped with seared steak tips.
