- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in boiling salted water until al dente (9-10 minutes). Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
- Season the steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and butter over medium-high heat; sear steak tips for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
- Remove the steak and make the sauce by sautéing minced garlic in butter; stir in heavy cream, whole milk, and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add grated cheeses and Cajun seasoning to create a thick sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if necessary.
- Toss cooked linguine in the sauce and serve topped with seared steak tips.
