- 2 cups fresh blueberries
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup cold water (divided)
- ⅔ cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3 cups cold water (remaining)
Instructions
- Prepare the Blueberry Syrup: In a blender, combine blueberries, sugar, and 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher.
- Mix with Lemon Juice: In a large pitcher, mix the strained blueberry puree with lemon juice and remaining cold water. Stir well and adjust sweetness if desired.
- Chill and Serve: Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. Serve over ice, garnished with lemon slices and blueberries.
