Instructions
- Brown beef cubes in olive oil over medium-high heat; season with salt and pepper.
- Sauté diced onion and garlic until tender; add tomato paste.
- Deglaze the pan with vinegar or broth; then add broth, crushed tomatoes, and spices.
- Cook on stovetop (2-4 hours), in the oven (275°F for 2-4 hours), or in a slow cooker (8-10 hours on low).
- Stir in orzo during the last cooking stage until tender.
