- 5–7 pieces of fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- 2 whole cinnamon sticks
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 4½ cups water
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot.
- Simmer on medium-low heat for one hour, partially covered.
- Strain the tea using a super-fine strainer into another pot to remove solids.
- Serve warm in teacups or transfer to a kettle.
- Garnish with thin-sliced apple and a cinnamon stick before enjoying.
